The Neighborhood House moved in 1959 to East 30th street in Lorain, OH. This is the current building.

This Progress Song was used and sung with children who attended the Hiram House. Hiram House was there to help children get away from their rough lives in factories and farms.

The immigrant boys were playing at Hiram House. The small yard had wooden structures to climb on and an area to play running and racing games.

The Hiram House playground with children was crowded. The makeshift wooden structures were built to keep children busy. The wooden poles were used as slides.
