Description
The Main Avenue Bridge, also known as the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway Bridge, opened in October 1939. Today it still stretches across the Flats and the Cuyahoga River. Built with help of funds from the Works Progress Administration and renovated in the early 1990s, the bridge has the honor of being Ohio’s longest elevated structure.
