Subject

Description

O. Carson Barklow, deputy director of operations (left) and Robert D. McMillen, engineer of traffic (right) present Dr. Richley with the last I-80S sign produced by the highway department.

Beginning September 1st, new signs designating Interstate 76 will be erected along what is now Interstate 80S in Northeast Ohio. Both I-76 and I-80 signs will be displayed for about 1 year to prevent motorist confusion. Director Richley recommended the numbering change last year to eliminate driver confusion in that area.
