Description

The picture depicts recreational boats on the Rocky River in 1960. Towering above is the Detroit road bridge connecting Rocky river with Lakewood. On one bank of the river there is a gas station and store serving the boaters. Although the gas station is no longer there, and the bridge has been replaced, boating is still very important on the Rocky River.
