Description
This September 6, 1949 article in the Cleveland Press reports that pilot Bill Odom crashed into a house in Berea while participating in the National Air Races. The National Air Races were held at Cleveland Airport. Odom's accident resulted in his death and killed a woman and her baby boy who were living in the house at the time.
