Description

This is a postcard from around 1900. It shows the Railroad underpass at Dille (today Nottingham) Road. The underpass was referred to as "the subway" since it tunneled under the ground. The postcard gives a clear setting of the Nottingham area around the turn of the twentieth century. The view show the railroad, a grocery and meat market, the Nottingham School, and the dirt road.
