City of Cleveland 1932 Plat Map book showing the site of the Eberhard Manufacturing Company. It was located approximately .2 mile from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. In Buckeye's Hungarian-American community, this company which provided jobs to many Hungarian immigrants in the late 19th century to early 20th century was known to these immigrants as the "new factory." The "old factory" was Cleveland Malleable Castings Company, originally located near East 79th Street and Woodland Ave.
